An unprovoked attack<\/a> is usually the result of a chance encounter between a human and a shark. Most attacks are unprovoked. Since 2015, there has been an average of 80 unprovoked shark attacks per year in the world, with an average of 13 fatalities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
